According to sources close to DJ Starterkit, an emerging bio-terror threat was communicated through the highest channels of government when officials misconstrued underground chatter about Starterkit's "infectious beats," "sick tracks," and "ill mixing." Though Homeland Security eventually reduced its threat level, regional DJs continue to feel that the threat to them is very real.
